Superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed that he doesn't like the fact that Paramount has been heavily using James Cameron, the original creator of the "Terminator" series, to market the new film.
Schwarzenegger, 67, said "Genisys" is good enough to stand on its own without relying on Cameron, who had no creative involvement in the sci-fi blockbuster, reported Digital Spy.
The studio earlier this month premiered a promotional video in which Cameron told fans, "You're gonna love this movie", and said he considers it the true third film in the series.
Schwarzenegger said, "I do not like the idea that the studio went out and used it as a promotional material for the movie because I always felt that if you do that, it looks kind of like you need James Cameron to say something good about the movie.
"Which we don't, because the movie is a straight 10, it's a fantastic movie."
However, Schwarzenegger admitted that he was grateful for Cameron for taking the time to watch the latest Terminator and share with him his views.
"I think that it was a great kind of a experience in a way to have James Cameron call me and say, 'I just saw the movie', because I had no idea he was going to go and see the movie," he said.
