Terrorist activities totally stopped in districts:DIG

Terrorist activities were totally eradicated in the districts of Cuddalore, Villupuram and Tiruvannamalai, police said today.
Villupuram DIG S Murugan told PTI on the sidelines of a function at Neyveli that owing to continued vigil by police, terrorist activities in these districts were completely stopped.
Terrorist activities were reported in these districts few years back.
He said police and coastal village committees were monitoring entry or movements of strangers in the coasal villages.
He denied the allegtion by PMK founder S Ramadoss that police were denying permission to the party for staging public meetings and rallies in the district.
