'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' to release in India a day before US

Spider-Man will cast his web into Indian theatres on May 1, a day before the film releases in the US.
'The Amazing Spider-Man 2', the Marc Webb-directed sequel of the superhero reboot will release on Thursday, 1 May release in India in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The fans can enjoy the film in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D.
"The release date will take advantage of the fact that most states have a public holiday on May 1. As it is, 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' releases during the opportune school and college vacation period which is ideal for our audience," said Kercy Daruwala, MD Sony Pictures India.
