'The Hobbit' star Elijah Wood to perform in India

Hollywood star Elijah Wood, best known as Frodo Baggins in "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, is making his maiden visit to India this September.
The 34-year-old actor, who is also part of a DJ duo called Wooden Wisdom, will be performing in Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad from September 3 to 9.
Wood will be accompanied on the three-city tour by his music partner, Zach Cowie.
"We love travelling abroad and playing records, so we can't wait to visit India for the first time, buy killer records and eat delicious food," Wood said in a statement.
Actor Ali Fazal, who featured in "Furious 7", will be the duo's official host in the country.

The duo, who has performed at pre-Emmy party at The London West Hollywood Hotel, will take their passion for classic sounding disco and house onto the road for four nights hitting India's metro cities in the first week of September.
"It's going to be a new experience for us all," said Kenneth Dsouza, founder of Lucid Productions, who is organising the event.
