Theatre personality Vennapani Chawla passes away

: Renowned theatre personality Veenapani Chawla died of a heart attack at a private hospital here, where she was admitted today.
She was 67. She is survived by her elder sister and her niece, sources in Adisakthi, a laboratory for theatre art Research she founded, said.
The laboratory is aimed at promoting research into the creation of new performance methodologies.
Chawla was also an actress, director, choreographer, writer and composer.
The sources said the funeral would take place tomorrow.
