Kasarwadavali Police Station sub-inspector Dinkar K Chandankar said that according to complaint lodged by Rupali Vishwakarma, 28, her husband Sanjay passed away 10 months ago and her mother-in-law, Damidevi Vishwakarma, sold a flat, jointly owned by Rupali and Sanjay, without her knowledge.
Damidevi sold the flat to two persons -- Ramesh Jain and Manish Navedia -- and took away the sum of Rs 14 lakh.
A case has been lodged against Damidevi and the two buyers under relevant sections of the IPC and no arrest has been made so far in this connection, he said.
