Three get life term in advocate murder case

A district court here today awarded life sentence to three persons in a seven-year-old murder case of a government advocate, police said.
District Judge Arun Kumar found the three guilty of killing government advocate Ramnaresh Sharma in Begusarai district, they said, adding that a penalty of Rs 50,000 has been imposed on each on them.
Three others, however, have been acquitted due to lack of evidence, police said.
The trio, identified as Chandan Kumar, Amarnath Chaudhary and Mukesh Kumar Singh shot the advocate at his house in Pokharia locality of Begusarai district on November 8, 2007.
