Three girls drown in UP's Bahraich
Three girls on Tuesday drowned in a pond at Uttampur village in the Risiya area here, police said.
The incident took place when Saima (9), Heena (12) and Shama (10) were digging soil near a pond and slipped into it, they said.
The bodies were later fished out by villagers and handed over to their family members for cremation.
