Three armed men, who had plans to loot a branch of a nationalised bank and abduct its manager, were arrested today in Nawada district.
Superintendent of Police Parvez Akhtar said the three, carrying 10 country-made pistols and 24 rounds of ammunition, were arrested from Gauspur halt station when they got down from a passenger train there.
The persons, workers in a garment factory in Mumbai, had chalked out the plan to loot the bank branch, abduct its manager, besides killing a man in Lakhisarai district due to personal enmity, Akhtar said.
Of the three Sonu and Saurabh hails from Lakhisarai district while Nawal is a local youth.
Six associates of the three were at large and raids were being carried out to nab them.
