According to a complaint filed by Sanjay Patel, a resident of Sehatpur village, the incident occurred yesterday when a tractor with an attached trolley, crushed his 3-year-old son to death, ASI Rakesh Kumar said.
The child died on the spot, he said.
A case was filed with Sarai Khwaja police station yesterday under IPC section 279 (rash driving or riding on a public way) and 304A (causing death by negligence).
Investigations are underway and search is on for the unidentified driver, the ASI said.
