"A total of 120 Tibetans have set themselves on fire in Tibet since 2009.
"(We) will continue to hold rallies and organise more campaigns to create more awareness and garner international support to end China's repression in Tibet, said Penpa Tsering, the Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, on the opening day of the 6th session of the 15th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile here today.
The parliament will discuss ways to find a meaningful solution to the situation prevailing in Tibet, he added.
His Holiness urged Tibetan administrators to serve and address the grievances of the Tibetan public on a priority basis and in a time-bound manner," he said.
The agenda for the sixth session of the Tibetan Parliament includes presentation of annual reports by the seven departments of the Tibetan Government-in-Exile and the tabling of the annual report and recommendations of the Fifth Public Accounts Committee of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile.
