A man was today injured when a tiger attacked him in the buffer area of Ranthambore National Park in Sawaimadhopur district, around 168 km from here.
"The tiger was resting in Khandar area when passerby Satish, aged around 35 years, went close to see the big cat following which the tiger attacked," Deputy Conservator of Forest- Sawaimadhopur, Sudarshan Sharma said.
He received a head injury in the attack and was taken to a hospital, where his condition is out of danger, he said.
