"We have caught the tiger aged about three years from Gunsi forest area by tranquilising him after spotting it," Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) Forest, Rakesh Lahri told PTI.
The tiger had recently killed a cow in Bangli village in the district which triggered panic in the area.
Later forest officials deployed cameras to trace the animal at number of places, he said.
This morning, it was spotted near Gunsi by a team of forest officials. They tranquilised it and caught the big cat in a cage, the official added.
