Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will be the chief guest on the occasion, TJSB Chairman Vidhyadhar Vaishampayan said here today.
With the modest beginning in 1972 in the co-operative field, the dynamism infused by Board of Directors, unflinching loyalty of clients and devotion of staff has led to the TJSB emerging as one of the leading multi-state scheduled co-operative bank in the country, he said.
TJSB currently has branches in Thane, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Nasik, Pune, Satara, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Nagpur, Latur, Goa and Karnataka.
He also said they expect the bank to cross Rs 100 crore net profit next year.
Despite fluctuating inflation, volatile exchange rate and deceleration of economic growth in FY 2013-14, the bank posted a net profit of Rs 93.52 crore last fiscal, an increase of 27 per cent over the previous year, he added.
