TMC's disciplinary committee, which include Partha Chatterjee, Subrata Mukherjee, Firhad Hakim and State Youth Affairs Minister and senior leader Aroop Biswas, met today and discussed over the anti-party statements made by Subhrangshu.
"We have taken note of his comments. We will again sit on February 25 to decide the next course of action," Biswas said.
Asked why his party was taking so long to decide on Subhrangshu, Biswas said, "We never backtrack on taking decisions. We are a party which is led by Mamata Banerjee. We have full support of the masses".
Amid speculation of a rift between Subhrangshu's father Mukul Roy, a one-time trusted aide of Mamata Banerjee, and the TMC supremo, Subhrangshu had defended his father's role in the Trinamool Congress through public statements.
