BJP General Secretary and Observer for West Bengal Kailash Vijayvargiya alleged that the state government had failed to curb anti-national activities and said a JMB module was unearthed in the state following the Burdwan blast last year and this time it was an ISI module which was working in the very heart of Kolkata.
Addressing the 'Uttan Divas' rally, Vijayvargiya also accused the Mamata Banerjee-led state government of turning West Bengal into a a "terror haven" and said, "Whenever we talk about Bengal, the first thing that comes to mind is terror and crime against women."
"Last week when an ISI agent was arrested in Uttar Pradesh, it was revealed that he had travelled from Pakistan to India via Bangladesh and had stayed in Kolkata for about a year with help of one of the agents who was arrested yesterday. It proves that the TMC kept mum on infiltration just for the sake of vote bank politics," Singh said.
Vijayvargiya said time had come in West Bengal for a political change and ouster of the TMC regime.
Raising the slogan of "Bhag Mamata Bhag", he asked those assembled to fight against the TMC's politics of terror and intimidation.
"Last year, I had said Bhag Madan Bhag and he is now in jail. I had also said Bhag Mukul Bhag. He is now nowhere in the picture and is knocking at the doors of every political party. In next year's Assembly elections, it will be Bhag Mamata Bhag," Singh said.
