Mohan will handle the Rural Industries portfolio, which includes Cottage and Small Industries.

A first-time Minister, Mohan, elected from the Sankarapuram Assembly constituency, was recently inducted in a minor reshuffle by Jayalalithaa who dropped C Ve Shanmugam from the ministry.
