: The Tamil Nadu government would consider the demand of the people for the construction of a bridge across Moyaru River near Bhavanisagar, School Education Minister K A Sengottiyan said on Sunday.
The Minister said this after releasing water for irrigation from Bhavani river into Thadapalli and Arakkankottai canals.
He said 24,502 acres of land would be benefited by the release of water.
Similarly, water has been released into Kalingarayan canal for irrigation. This would benefit over 15,000 acres of land.
