An MSc (Agri) graduate, Nithin of Erumadeu village was selected to participate in a research programme in Singapore University and from there had been deputed to Al-Ameen University in Dubai, his father Badrasamy told reporters at nearby Gudalur where he had come to lodge a complaint with officials.
Nithin had come to his home town a few days ago and returned on July 7. But the family was informed about his death on July 13, four days after his body was found in the car, he said.
Meanwhile, Badrasamy and his wife planned to approach the local MLAs and AIADMK MP and other ruling party leaders to help them bring the body of their son to their native place, they said.
