Toll plaza employees manhandled

An FIR has been lodged against some persons for allegedly manhandling the employees Toll plaza of Yamuna Expressway at Jewar today, police said.
"FIR has been lodged against 74 persons for forcibly making Jewar toll plaza free and manhandling the toll plaza staff. Investigations are on to identify the accused," said Station House Officer of Jewar, Surindra Ram.
Earlier in the day, members of the Kisan Vikas Samiti held a protest at Jewar toll plaza demanding toll free movement for local farmers.
They forcibly made toll plaza free and some vehicles passed without paying toll.
They also allegedly manhandled the toll plaza staff, police said.
