Leading animators of the country will be meeting for two days from tomorrow to share their knowledge and experiences at the "Indian animation masters summit" organised by animation major Toonz.
The meet will be attended by 13 well known names in the Indian animation industry who will make presentations covering various aspects of the subject and hold interactive sessions with the audience, Toonz India CEO P Jayakumar told a press meet here today.
Those who are expected to attend the meet include Devdut Patnaik, Ajit Rao, Dhimant Vyas, Sanjeev Waeerkar, Nina Sabnani, Prosenjit Ganguly, Gitanjali Rao, Shekhar Mukherjee, Chetan Sharma, Vaibhav Kumaresh, Manish Mohan, Gayatri Rao and Ranjit Singh Tony.
"The event will witness the masters conducting interactive sessions on the most exciting and untouched areas of animation and animation film making," Jayakumar said.
The meet was meant to impart expert knowledge to professionals and create awareness in the society about the potential of animation beyond entertainment, he said.
In the earlier years, Toonz had organised "Week with masters", which saw stalwarts from various countries gathering here to share their experiences.
The occasion also marks the 15th anniversary of Toonz India Animation, which has emerged one of the leading players of animation entertainment with its footprint in markets the world over.
The event will be inaugurated by national award winning actor Suraj Venjaramood.
