The market capitalisation (m-cap) of ONGC surged by Rs 9,154.37 crore, the most among the top 10 firms, to Rs 2,00,155.69 crore.
While ITC's jumped Rs 4,779.31 crore to Rs 2,59,608.76 crore, CIL added Rs 3,695.07 crore at Rs 2,03,639.59 crore and TCS saw a growth of Rs 3,330.02 crore at Rs 4,79,474.08 crore.

The valuation of Sun Pharma was higher by Rs 264.73 crore at Rs 1,90,494.92 crore.
In terms of ranking, TCS was the winner followed by RIL, HDFC Bank, ITC, Infosys, CIL, ONGC, HDFC, Sun Pharma and HUL.
Over the past week, the BSE benchmark Sensex rose 319.49 points to end at 25,838.71.
