Online travel planning platform TripHobo has partnered with Asia Pacific startup community Amadeus Next to develop and pilot an end-to-end travel planner.
"Amadeus Next is a dynamic startup community and Amadeus is a leading venture capitalist in the travel technology space.
"With Amadeus, TripHobo is aiming at becoming an online dynamic holiday packaging solution for travellers," Saket Newaskar, co-founder and chief technology officer of Triphobo, told PTI.
The partnership will allow TripHobo to integrate advanced flight search solutions for its users, while Amadeus will additionally help TripHobo build new features to offer travellers innovative tools to plan a complete trip end-to-end and mentor it for a go-to-market strategy.
TripHobo has so far tied-up with Expedia, Zomato, Skyscanner and Booking.Com to offer services to its users.
The company has over 100,000 itineraries generated every month and is growing at 25 per cent a month, Newaskar said.
"We currently offer information about 14,000 cities and expect to reach 55,000 cities in the next year. We are also actively scouting for partners in the home-stays segment," he added.
The company has about 70 employees and is looking to double the number this year, he said.
TripHobo has raised USD 450,000 in angel funding and USD 4 million from Kalaari Capital till now.
"The funds raised will hold us good for the next 1.5 years," he said.
