Tripura reach 228/7 on opening day against Services

Tripura reached 228 for seven in their first innings at the end of the opening day's play in their Ranji Trophy Group C match against Services, here today.
Sent into bat, Tripura lost wickets at regular intervals with leg-break googly bowler Muzzaffaruddin Khalid (4/56) picking up four wickets for Services.
Besides Khalid, Diwesh Pathania (2/57) accounted for two wickets.
Opener Bishal Ghosh top-scored for Tripura with a patient 49 while Yashpal Singh made 41.
At stumps, Rajat Dey was batting on 28 while giving him company was Gurinder Singh on 23.
