"TUV Rheinland NIFE, started in 1992 currently has 100 centres across India and we plan to add 100 more centres over the next 1-2 years," TUV Rheinland India Director M V Thomas told reporters here.
TUV Rheinland NIFE, one of the premier institutes in the country offering diploma courses in fire safety, lift technology, fibre optics and inventory and stores, has trained over a lakh students in the past 23 years.
With the NSDC approval, TUV Rheinland NIFE students now become eligible for bank loans, easy attestation at embassies and also for better placements, Thomas said.
"With the NSDC approval, we are expanding and plan to add 100 more centres in Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Rajasthan, besides Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, among other states. Fifteen of the proposed centres will come up in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, which currently have seven centres put together," he added.
