In the first phase, the programme will cover 70 cities in while in the second phase the company aims to reach up to 200 locations by October 2016.
The initiative aims to resolve on-road problems faced by customer through a 24/7 helpline and personal assistance besides covering issues like spare key pick-up, fuel delivery and onsite repair.
"With more than 3,500 dealer touch points, we are confident of extending a 24/7 Road Side Assistance Program, which will cater to the consumer's immediate requirements and also help them overcome any issue on the road," TVS Motor Company Vice President Sales & Service JS Srinivasan said in a statement.
The programme is applicable on every new and existing TVS vehicle--scooters and motorcycles under warranty with no additional charges.
