"The two separate motions have been moved by Congress MLAs which seek the adjournment of the business of the House tomorrow, in order to discuss the issues of urgent public importance.
"The motion over the issue of relief and rehabilitation have been moved by MLAs Aijaz Khan, Usman Majeed, Amin Bhat and Mohammad Akram, while the motion over the issue of imposition of tax on facilities availed by pilgrims has been submitted by G M Saroori, Abdul Rashid, Mumtaz Ahmad Khan and Gulzar Ahmad Wani," a party spokesman here said.
The spokesman said similarly, the imposition of tax on the services availed by the pilgrims of Mata Vaishno Devi and similar other religious places in the state, is "an ill-advised move by the government involving sentiments of crores of people".
The spokesman said similar motions have been moved in the Upper House as well to seek adjournment over these two issues.
