Two-and-half-year-old boy meets watery grave

In a tragic incident, a two and half-year-old boy died after he allegedly fell into a ground level water tank near his house in Koilpalayam on the outskirts today.
The incident took place when the the boy Girish was playing in front of his house, while his mother was busy cooking and father was away at work, police said.
A passer by who noticed the child falling into the tank, managed to rescue him and taken to a private hospital, where he was declared brought dead, they said.
