The local people found two bodies lying near Parsauna crossing and informed the police, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Harishankar Kumar said.
The bodies have been identified as that of Ranjit Yadav (35) and Gulten Singh (45), he said, adding it bore severe injury marks.
A bike reportedly belonging to the victims were also recovered some distance away, Kumar said adding that it appeared that the two had met with road accident or they might have been killed by unidentified assailants.
Senior officials have rushed to the spot to pacify the protesters, the SDPO said.
