Two held for snatching motorcycles, mobiles

Two men who allegedly indulged in snatching mobiles and motorcycles to fund a marriage have been arrested from Nand Nagari area in north-east Delhi, police said today.
The accused were identified as Rohit (27) and Alam (21), both residents of Nand Nagari.
"One stolen motorcycle and four snatched mobiles were also found in their possession. They had resorted to thievery to finance marriage," a senior police official said.
"Alam used to ride motorcycle whereas Rohit would be on pillion seat. They used to roam around in the streets in search of targets. Their associate Manni, who is in Jail used to disposed off the stolen mobiles," the official said.

Rohit, educated till class 6, had been sent to jail twice earlier. Alam, primary school educated, had also been sent to jail earlier and is married.
