The mishap took place last night near Rampur Gwaltoli as the ill-fated tractor overturned after the driver lost control of vehicle, the sources said.
While two occupants, identified as Manju Devi (50) and Mangia Devi (22) died on the spot, a dozen others sustained injuries, they said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, the sources said, adding the injured persons were admitted to a hospital for treatment where the condition of eight of them was stated to be serious.
