Two persons were killed and another injured today when a car carrying them collided head-on with a bus on Jamui-Jhajha main road in the district, police said.
The incident occurred near Ekdara More under the jurisdiction of Jhajha under police station, when the three persons were going to Jhajha from Jamui bazar and the bus was on its way to Jhajha from Belhar, the police said.
The deceased were identified as 35-year-old Manoj Yadav and 38-year-old Naim Ansari, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Jhajha, Bhaskar Ranjan, said adding, the injured person has been admitted to Jamui Sadar Hospital.
The bodies were sent to Jamui Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination, the DSP said.
