Two minor brothers, belonging to Saharia tribe, were today charred to death when their hut caught fire at Sunari village in the district.
Rajesh (2) and Raja (4) were alone in the house as their parents had gone to work in a farm, Sub Divisional Officer of Police R R Bansal said.
"They got trapped inside the hut when it suddenly caught fire at around noon," he said.
A fire tender was rushed to the spot and the bodies have been sent for autopsy.
"The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained," Bansal said adding a case has been registered and probe is on.
