Two workers killed in boiler explosion

Sandeep (20) and Ajay (23), who worked at the boiler section, died in the blast that occurred at the cotton factory this morning, police said.

A case under various sections of IPC has been lodged against the factory owner for allegedly overlooking the security norms, they said.

Bodies of victim were handed over to their family members after conducting post-mortem.

Blaming the owner for his son's death, Sandeep's father has alleged that the mishap occurred because no trained person was appointed by the management to operate the boiler.
