Two youths drown in Kashmir Valley
17-year-old Srifa Jan of Rather Mohalla in Baramulla district's Tangmarg area fell into a stream while walking over a foot bridge and drowned, police said.
Her body has been fished out and handed over to her family.
In south Kashmir's Anantnag district, an 18-year-old mentally challenged boy, Himayun Khan, drowned in a stream near his village in Kokernag area, the spokesman said.
Khan's body has been fished out and handed over to his relatives.
