Anupam Saxena, an executive engineer in the PWD Department in Lohaghat, wrote to his senior officers accusing BJP MLA Puran Singh Fartyal of putting undue pressure on him to get some work done.
Confirming the allegations, Superintending Engineer DS Hayanki said what Saxena is being pressured to do are beyond his jurisdiction.
"He is terribly stressed out because of this and even feels insulted as pressure is being mounted on him publicly," Hayanki said.
However, when contacted the BJP MLA had a different story to tell.
