The country's largest packaging company Uflex has developed a solution for space body ISRO for its requirement of specialised film for passive thermal control of spacecraft components.
The company's Flex Films division at Noida developed a solution for ISRO in a six-month time after it had approached the company earlier in September 2017 with a requirement of specialized film.
Commenting on the development Uflex Chairman Ashok Chaturvedi said that Uflex has been able to contribute to ISRO's endeavour of indigenization and becoming self-reliant in space technology applications.
