"The UGC has also requested all the universities to inscribe the name of institution in which a student is enrolled for a programme to study as well as the mode of delivery (regular, part-time or distance)," Union Minister of State for HRD Mahendra Nath Pandey said while replying to a question.
The UGC vide letter dated March 21, 2017 had requested all the universities to introduce such identification mechanisms, he said.
