Union minister Upendra Kushwaha today said he was unaware of the NDA MPs' decision to forgo their salaries for 23 days of the ongoing budget session during which Parliament did not function due to disruptions.
His party Rashtriya Lok Samta Party is a member of the ruling NDA and has three members in the Lok Sabha.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar had made the announcement last night as he blamed the Congress for the logjam in Parliament.
At a press conference, Kushwaha expressed ignorance over the decision.
"I am not aware. I do not know," the RLSP chief told reporters.
Kumar, however, insisted that all constituents of the NDA will forgo their salaries.
