"He has been given poison," the brother of the deceased alleged.
"A magisterial probe has been ordered and attempts would be made for providing him maximum relief from the government," City Magistrate Ram Araj Yadav said.
"Undertrial Rahish Qureshi, 27, was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state and prima facie he had cardio respiratory arrest," Dr M Bansal, officiating Chief Medical Superintendent said, adding that in spite of life saving treatment given to him by physician Dr Ravi Maheshwari, he could not be saved.
He was rushed to district hospital when the pain aggravated.
"The post-mortem was conducted with a panel of two doctors and one pharmacist," City Magistrate said, adding the videography of post-mortem was also conducted.
