Taranjot, a resident of Vishnu Garden, was apprehended from Rajouri Garden recently during a picket checking, V Renganathan, Additional Commissioner of Police (West), said.
He is a graduate from Delhi University.
"Our police team stopped a motorcycle as the number plate was found to be defective. He was asked to produce the papers of the motorcycle but he failed to do so. Then we found that the two-wheeler was stolen.
"He was arrested and his questioning led to recovery of another stolen scooter," Renganathan said.
