The 78-episode series follows three adolescents-- Kitty, Tara and Adrak, who form a team to solve cases as they try to make their small town of Badlipur a better place to live in.
The cases are intertwined with their journey of growing up in Badlipur. Under-age marriage, nutrition, gender stereotyping, continuing of education, peer pressure and gender-based violence are among the issues, which will be tackled on the show.
The show has been produced by Sunshine Productions, known for helming youth dramas like "Miley Jab Hum Tum" and "Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha".
"India is home to 243 million adolescents. This series portrays adolescents who stand up for their rights.
"Through a mix of social drama, action, energy, fun, humour and emotions, this entertainment package discusses existing social norms and showcases transformation from a culture of silence to a culture of change and freedom," said Louis-Georges Arsenault, UNICEF India Represetative today said at the series launch, here.
The theme of the show has been sung by Bollywood playback singer-composer Salim Merchant.
Actress Priyanka Chopra, who is UNICEF's National Ambassador, recorded a special video to send her best wishes for the show.
The show will go on air from October 21 and will telecast Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week.
"AadhaFULL" will be supported by a 78-episode-long radio show called "Full on NIKKI", as well as a mobile game, an inter-personal toolkit, graphic novels and DVD omnibuses.
