A marketing manager of a builder group was on Tuesday shot at four times by unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants in Greater Noida, officials said.
Rajeev Verma, who works for Oasis Venetia Heights Company, was hospitalised in Noida where his condition is said to be critical, a senior official said.
Verma was attacked outside a project site in Surajpur area in the afternoon, he said.
"Verma was shot at by two bike-borne criminals who are yet to be identified. He has been admitted to the hospital and all necessary legal actions are being taken. Prima facie, four bullets were fired at him," Gautam Buddh Nagar SSP Vaibhav Krishna said.
The district police chief said he has formed three teams, which have been tasked to solve the case.
