Police said based on CCTV recordings they have now launched a hunt to nab the culprits.
A case has been registered with Kolsewadi police under Kalyan division.
According to the complaint lodged by an official of a cash handling company they had loaded cash in the machine late on Saturday night.
On Sunday morning the person in whose premises the ATM of the nationalised bank is installed called and informed that the ATM was broken, mentions the complaint.
The cash in the machine is intact, added police.
