As part of its efforts to improve coordination between the party and the government, Union ministers started visiting the BJP headquarters from today with heavy Industries Minister P Radha Krishnan hearing grievances and suggestions from partymen and sought their feedback.
He was accompanied by Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaih Naidu and party general secretary J P Nadda.
"Under this programme called 'sahyog', the Ministers will meet party members and general public to help resolve the issues and problems of the public," Naidu said.
He said each Minister will have to visit the party office once a month to ensure better governance as decided by the party which will help both the party and the government in understanding the problems and ensure good governance.
"Sahyog is a grievance redressal forum and the party workers deserve this attention," he said.
Naidu said Sahyog would act as a link between the government, the party and the workers from different parts of the country who would be coming to the party headquarters and one of the Ministers would sit here everyday to hear their problems and grievances and help resolve them.
He said the Ministers will also get feedback from the public and try to redress the concerns by sending them to the respective departments, states or Ministries.
Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries P Radha Krishnan started this series today by meeting party workers from the country.
The move, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his meeting with party leaders here on July 2, is aimed at not only ensuring better government-party coordination but also getting feedback from partymen visiting the party office from all over the country.
