UP Governor commends women empowerment at DUVASU

Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik said he was pleased to find an example of women empowerment in Deen Dayal Upadhyay Veterinary University and Go Anusandhan Sansthan Mathura (DUVASU) during sixth convocation of the university today.
"The way fifty per cent of girls have excelled and were awarded medals. If women are provided with conducive environment like one available here, the university may become model of woman empowerment," Naik said.
He also advised thestudents to equip themselves with extra knowledge as it would add to their confidence and pave the way for their success in this competitive world.
He said, there is no substitute to hard work as pledge is the root of success in life.

Payingtribute to late Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Naik said he was a visionary and he was the one who tried to blend ancient culture with the scientific development.
