The decision was taken during a meeting of the state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, an official spokesman said here.
The film depicts the story of a man, who is ready to face any problem and atrocity, to save family values and security of his family, he said.
The spokesman said that the producer of the film requested the state government to exempt it on this basis.
He said that after screening by a committee it was recommended to exempt it from entertainment tax.
Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh government had decided to make internationally acclaimed Neeraj Ghaywan's "Masaan" and Muzaffar Ali's "Jaanisar" tax free in the state.
