"The government is a victim of contradictions, confusion and anarchy. There is no coordination among ministers," BJP state president Laxmikant Bajpai told reporters here.

He alleged that the manner in which the government was functioning smacked of "communal mentality" and said there was no law and order in the state.

Blaming the state government for the power crisis, he asked the authorities to prepare a time table and supply power uniformly rather than provide uninterrupted electricity to strongholds of the ruling Samajwadi Party.
