UP youth ends life over failure in business, father's illness

A 27-year-old youth in Kakadeo area of the city allegedly committed suicide over failure in business and father's illness in Kakadeo area, police said here today.
Brijesh was apparently depressed and ended his life yesterday by jumping in front of an approaching freight train near the G T road railway crossing, they said.
According to the suicide note left by Brijesh, he was worried over failure in business and illness of his father Dinesh, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, police said.
The deceased used to assist his father in his business as supplier of medicines. Following his father's illness, Brijesh took the responsibility of the business on himself but failed and eventually had to shut it down, they said.

The body has been handed over to his family following the post-mortem, police added.
