UPA decision on Telangana right: NCP's Tariq Anwar

Defending UPA's decision on a separate Telangana, NCP general secretary Tariq Anwar today said all obstacles in the path of forming the 29th state will be resolved after taking into confidence those people opposing the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
"The decision to carve out Telangana is a right one as it will expedite development of those districts forming the new state," Anwar, who is also Union Minister of State for Agriculture said.
Efforts were on to win over those opposed to bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, he said.
All small states, barring Jharkhand, have witnessed economic development, Anwar added.
